Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Area Sales Head to lead our sales efforts across the Chennai region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2C sales, channel sales, and distributor management, with proven experience in managing and motivating sales teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive area-level sales strategy and execution across multiple distribution channels.
• Lead a team of field sales executives and team leaders, ensuring strong on-ground performance.
• Manage and grow relationships with key distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
• Develop and implement sales plans to meet and exceed area targets.
• Monitor team performance regularly, and provide coaching and support as needed.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate closely with the Zonal/Regional Head to align area plans with larger business goals.
• Ensure operational excellence in processes such as stock flow, market hygiene, and retail execution.

Requirements:

• 8 to 12 years of overall sales experience, with at least 4 years in a team handling role.
• Proven expertise in B2C sales, channel sales, and distributor management.
• Strong team leadership skills with the ability to drive performance across a geographically spread team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned area.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate in any stream (BTech preferred).
• MBA or equivalent post-graduation is preferred.

Preferred Industry Background:

Telecom, Retail, Banking, Insurance, Consumer Durables, Mobile Handsets, FMCD, Paint, Furniture, Hardware.
Note: Candidates with a background in Pharma or EdTech will not be considered.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,100,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
