Job Title: Area Sales Executive/Manager – Solar Energy

Job Summary:

Area Sales Executive/Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territory for solar products and services.
  • Generate leads through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and participation in trade shows/events.
  • Manage channel partners, installers, and dealers to drive regional sales targets.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support, including technical product information and pricing.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales agreements tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Stay updated with market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments affecting the solar industry.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales performance using CRM tools.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the assigned area.
  • Knowledge of solar PV products (panels, inverters, batteries, etc.) and the sales cycle.
