Area Manager

As an experienced Microfinance professional with 4 to 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in the strategic planning and execution of business targets and objectives. This will involve analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring effective implementation of business strategies across branches. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the performance of Branch Managers & Field Officers. Your role will also encompass team management and leadership responsibilities. You will recruit, train, and support Branch Managers & Field Officers, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster a positive and motivating work environment. Setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback on performance will be essential for team success. In terms of budgeting and financial management, you will be required to prepare annual budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize resources to maximize profitability. Ensuring adherence to financial reports and taking necessary actions to achieve targets will be part of your responsibilities. Relationship management is another key aspect of the role. You will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities. Resolving customer complaints effectively, collaborating with other departments for cross-functional activities, and maintaining positive relationships will be critical for success. Compliance and risk management are vital components of the role. Conducting periodic risk assessments, implementing risk mitigation measures, monitoring loan disbursals and collections, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures for branches will be part of your responsibilities.
