Architect

- The Architect will work from the developer’s office and act as the bridge between the consulting architects, design consultants and the execution team.

- This role requires strong technical and coordination skills. The candidate should be able to make changes in AutoCAD drawings provided by the consulting architect, prepare working and presentation drawings, and coordinate interior design works for residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drawing Management & Design Modifications

 Review, understand, and modify architectural and interior drawings received from the consulting architect as per management instructions.

 Make layout changes, detailing corrections, and updates in AutoCAD as required by design, site, or marketing teams.

 Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) and as-built drawings in coordination with the site team.

 Maintain a master drawing register ensuring all revisions are properly numbered and documented.

 Coordinate with consultants for MEP, structure, and landscape to ensure alignment across drawings.

2. Interior Design Coordination

 Coordinate with appointed interior designers on concept, layouts, material selections, and detailing.

 Review and modify interior drawings and furniture layouts in AutoCAD as per site and client requirements.

 Oversee and ensure the implementation of interior works on- site matches approved designs.

 Prepare presentation drawings, material boards, and finish schedules for review and approvals.

 Liaise with vendors and contractors for interior fit-outs and detailing clarifications.

3. Project Coordination

 Act as a liaison between the design consultants and site teams, ensuring smooth information flow and design intent execution.

 Conduct periodic site visits to check design compliance and provide clarifications.

 Assist in preparing drawings for statutory submissions (RERA, SRA, BMC, etc.) if required.

 Support the project management team with quick revisions or clarifications required during construction.

4. Documentation & Communication

 Maintain all digital and hard copies of drawings, presentations, and correspondence.

 Prepare and share drawing issue sheets, change logs, and coordination reports to all sites.

 Draft and respond to emails for consultant coordination, design updates, and management approvals.

Required skillset

 AutoCAD (Advanced proficiency) – must be able to edit and generate working drawings independently.

 Knowledge of SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred.

 Good understanding of building bye-laws, DCPR norms, and construction detailing.

 Working knowledge of materials, finishes, and interior detailing

 Eye for detail and strong design sense.

 Ability to take ownership and work independently on revisions and updates.

 Good coordination and communication skills with consultants and vendors.

 Organized, disciplined, and deadline-driven.
