Application Production Support - MQ Specialist

The Application Production main responsibility is to provide applications production support services.

A team is setup in India to be closer to the Italian Application Production Team and BNL Application development teams with which we are working.

Leveraging BNL BNP Paribas Paris teams expertise and ISPL IT skills, the goal is to enable applications flawless production by providing secure and stable environments and by ensuring that all actions on production environments are done in a controlled manner.

The primary purpose of the position will be to support BNL Application Production teams in their CHANGE activities, primarily:

- Evolution of Digital/Core Banking Systems

o Support API BNLMQM refactoring

o Support evolution of Digital Channels

Responsibilities

Ensuring smooth and efficient transition of IT projects during the operational phase

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve potential issues during the transition process

Continuously improving transition and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness

Coordinate closely with Rome IT Application Production Teams working on IT Evolution program and all other BNL BNP Paribas IT teams

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

A proactive and results-driven approach to work

Help build team spirit and integrate into BNL BNP Paribas culture

Contribute to the regular activity reporting and KPI calculation

Contribute to continuous improvement actions, especially the lessons learned from handovers to Paris

Contribute to the acquisition by ISPL team of new skills & knowledge to expand its scope

For the reinforcement of our team, we are looking for an Application Production Supports with these skills:

1. Infrastructure Administration Open Environment:

o Familiarity with MQSeries technology is required

o Cloud Native Application with focus on IBM cloud (Platform as a Service)

o Operating System :

- RedHat Linux 6.x, 7.x, 8.x

- Windows Server 2012, 2016, 2019

- AIX 7

o System Scripting (Shell, Python, ecc.)

o DevOps tools including Ansible & Python

o Knowledge of DBMS:

- Oracle 12 and 19

- SQL Server 2012, 2016, 2019

- DB2

- Postgres

o Installation, configuration, backup, Performance & Tuning

o Capability to execute basic scripts and queries

o Websphere Application Server 7.x, 8.x, 9.x (Network Deployment, Base and Liberty Core)

o Axway Transfer CFT

General competences:

2. Knowledge of ITIL

3. General IT infrastructure knowledge

4. Knowledge of IT production backup and resilience setup (High Availability setup, Disaster Recovery Plan, etc.)

5. Service Now ticketing system
