Application Developer Intern (SaaS)

We are looking for a Application Developer Intern who is passionate about building real-world web applications and eager to gain hands-on experience in a production SaaS environment. This role is designed for skill-ready candidates who can contribute actively from day one.

⚠This is a skill-based internship. Candidates who are currently pursuing any academic degree (UG / PG / Diploma) are NOT eligible for this role.

Location: Onsite (Chennai)

Duration: 6 months

Stipend: 10,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain frontend components using React (JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Build and integrate backend APIs using Node.js (Express/NestJS)
• Work with relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) for data storage and retrieval
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal services
• Debug and resolve issues across frontend and backend layers
• Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews, sprint discussions, and daily stand-ups
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams
• Follow secure coding and basic performance best practices

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory)

• Candidates currently pursuing any degree or academic program are NOT eligible
• Must have completed education, dropped out, or transitioned via self-learning / bootcamps
• Must be available for full-time internship hours
• Must have hands-on coding experience (projects / internships / freelance work)

Required Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong understanding of TypeScript fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with React (components, hooks, props, state)
• Basic backend knowledge using Node.js
• Understanding of REST APIs
• Working knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL preferred)
• Familiarity with Git & GitHub
• Basic debugging and problem-solving skills

Good to Have (Optional)

• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
• Basic understanding of cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, Netlify, etc.)
• Knowledge of authentication concepts (JWT, sessions)
• Experience with testing or linting tools
