Finance & Operations Intern

Job Description
This is a full-time internship role for a Finance & Operations Intern in Chennai. The intern will support the finance and operations team by assisting in essential financial processes within a SaaS company, including billing, payroll, GST filing, and audit preparation. This role offers hands-on experience and exposure to core financial and operational functions in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with SaaS billing operations and customer invoicing
• Support payroll processing and documentation
• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping
• Assist in GST filing, TDS, and tax compliance
• Support annual audit preparations and documentation
• Help with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Process vendor payments, track expenses, and assist with reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial and operational records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, GST, and TDS
• Familiarity with accounting software
• Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn
