Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Android Developer to join our mobile development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining native Android applications that deliver high performance and excellent user experience. As part of our agile team, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend developers to create seamless and feature-rich mobile experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform (using Kotlin/Java)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Work with outside data sources and APIs (REST, GraphQL, Firebase, etc.)
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Follow best practices in code structure, version control, and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related study
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java
• Experience with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Android Studio
• Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, or other design patterns
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Room, Glide, Dagger/Hilt)
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI design patterns
• Familiarity with Firebase, Crashlytics, Google Play Console
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, or RxJava
• Previous work on published apps available on Google Play Store
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams
