Roles and Responsibilities

1. Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, and modern architecture components.
2. Implement MVVM architecture, Jetpack libraries, and clean code principles for scalable feature development.
3. Integrate REST APIs, third-party SDKs, and real-time data workflows to support logistics operations.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Backend, QA, Product) to deliver features in an Agile environment.
5. Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces while ensuring seamless user experience and smooth app lifecycle management.
6. Optimize application performance, including memory management, threading, and network efficiency.
7. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to architectural decisions.
8. Troubleshoot issues, ensure app stability, and handle multiple tasks efficiently within delivery timelines.

Requirements

1. Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or a related field
2. 5-7 years of relevant experience
3. Experience with Android development technologies and architecture, including Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, Room, Firebase, etc.
4. Experience with high performance mobile apps catering to millions of daily active users is a plus
5. Excellent team-working skills and ability to handle multiple tasks together.
6. Experience with API integration and ability to architect and implement intuitive user interfaces and third-party SDK integrations.
7. Ability to think and analyse both breadth-wise (UI/UX, app lifecycle, network, data flow) and depth-wise (memory management, performance optimization, threading) while designin and implementing features.
