Analytical Chemist

Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist with expertise in water quality analysis and knowledge of established standards such as: BIS – Bureau of Indian Standards APHA – American Public Health Association The candidate will work closely with our R&D and QA/QC teams to test, validate, and train Cluix water testing devices. They will also contribute to expanding the scope of parameters tested, supporting both innovation and compliance. Key Responsibilities Conduct laboratory testing of water samples following BIS and APHA guidelines. Support Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) processes by validating device accuracy, repeatability, and reliability. Train internal teams and stakeholders on the use and interpretation of device results. Research and develop methods to incorporate additional physico-chemical and microbiological parameters into testing solutions. Maintain detailed records of experiments, results, and calibrations. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and contribute to internal and external audits. Collaborate with product development teams to optimize sensor performance and usability. Qualifications & Skills Education: Master’s degree (M.Sc.) or higher in Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of laboratory experience in water testing and analysis. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of BIS and APHA standards for water quality testing. Hands-on experience with instruments like spectrophotometers, titration setups, TOC analyzers, and other water testing equipment. Research Orientation: Ability to design experiments, analyze data, and propose improvements for testing protocols. Familiarity with QA/QC protocols in device manufacturing.
