Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

The key responsibility is to identify early signs of stress in any account by continuously monitoring the wholesale banking portfolio.
Identify early signs of stress in accounts/ sectors by continuously monitoring both external and internal reports/triggers. Engage with stakeholders for flagging off identified risks pertaining to borrowers.
Convene EWS forum meetings, drafting of minutes and follow up on the agreed action plan.
Preparation of Asset Quality Reports (AQR) to highlight inherent weaknesses in credit and operational parameters of an account.
Designing and refinement of EWS policies and processes
Preparation and circulation of specific MIS to top management as may be required on periodic basis.
Any other assignment from time to time as guided by the supervisor.
Working collaboratively to achieve the common goals and be successful together.

Preferred candidate profile

Understanding of credit analysis : Financial analysis, credit ratings.

Basic understanding of Regulatory : RBI guidelines on EWS/ asset categorization/ wilful defaults/ RFA/ Fraud requirements

Should be hands on with Excel/Word/Powerpoint

Prior experience of working in Banking domain in Credit/ Risk

Preferred : Prior experience of working in Monitoring/ Risk profiles
