Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, verify, and manage export/import documentation including B/L, COO, Packing List, Licenses, EPCG, and Duty Drawback.
Ensure compliance with Customs, DGFT, RBI, GST, IEC, and international trade regulations.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHAs, shipping lines, and transporters for shipment booking and tracking.
Monitor end-to-end shipment lifecycle to ensure OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) delivery and resolve delays or issues.
Negotiate with logistics and service providers to optimize freight and control costs such as demurrage and detention.
Drive process improvements to reduce lead times, documentation errors, and supply chain costs.
Prepare MIS reports, track KPIs, and maintain accurate operational records.
Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Finance teams for smooth operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

36 years of experience in EXIM operations, international logistics, or supply chain roles.
Strong understanding of Customs procedures, DGFT policies, GST laws, and international trade regulations.
Hands-on experience with export/import documentation.
Experience working on ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Exposure to EXIM operations for UAE / Oman is an added advantage.
Willingness to travel or relocate to UAE (Dubai) based on business needs.
