We are seeking a highly motivated Aircraft Design and Development Engineer with strong experience in aircraft conceptual and preliminary design, structural and systems integration, and product development cycles. Follow us on: https://www.linkedin.com/company/aerosapien-technologies Key Responsibilities Lead and support the conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of aircraft systems and structures. Perform configuration trade studies for aerodynamics, propulsion integration, and energy optimization. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including propulsion, battery systems, avionics, certification, and manufacturing. Support structural analysis (FEM), weight estimation, and performance modeling. Assist in system architecture development for airframe, powertrain, and electric propulsion systems. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations. Support prototype development, ground testing, and flight testing phases. Document design decisions, technical reports, and compliance with regulatory standards (FAA/EASA Part 23 or 27 preferred). Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 8+ years of experience in aircraft design, preferably with clean-sheet or advanced concept development. Proficiency with design and analysis tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, or CFD tools). Understanding of airworthiness requirements and certification processes.
