Job Summary Synechron is seeking an experienced Agile/Jira Support Engineer to join our technology team. This role is crucial in leading cross-functional technology teams and providing technical guidance to ensure successful delivery of software projects. The Agile/Jira Support Engineer will drive technology initiatives and collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions, aligning with Synechron's strategic objectives. Software Requirements Required Proficiency:In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JiraFamiliarity with various software systems and technologiesKnowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructurePreferred Proficiency:Understanding of software architecture and design patternsKnowledge of database management systems and data structures Overall Responsibilities Lead and manage cross-functional technology teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to develop their skills. Drive technology initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business strategy. Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technology solutions. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption. Develop and maintain technology roadmaps. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts. Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages:Preferred: Familiarity with Java, Python, or other relevant languagesDatabases/Data Management:Required: Knowledge of database management systemsCloud Technologies:Required: Knowledge of cloud computing platformsDevelopment Tools and Methodologies:Required: Agile methodologies, project management tools (Jira) Experience Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of experience in technology leadership and software development. Strong technical expertise in multiple areas of software development and technology. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing projects. Day-to-Day Activities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements. Lead cross-functional technology teams and provide technical guidance. Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for adoption. Develop and maintain technology roadmaps. Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts. Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members. Drive technology initiatives and ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Professional Competencies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
