Job Summary

The Associate Engineer Trainee – ERP will support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of the organization’s ERP system. The role involves assisting in system setup, process mapping, data migration, and user support activities. The position is ideal for fresh graduates with a strong foundation in computer science, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in ERP configuration, testing, and deployment under guidance of senior team members.
• Support end-users in resolving technical and functional issues.
• Participate in data collection, migration, and validation activities.
• Work with ERP teams to understand business process requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and update system documentation, configuration notes, and process flow diagrams.
• Provide daily operational support for ERP users and coordinate with technical teams for issue resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to enhance system performance and workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrate professional communication and teamwork in all interactions.

3. Required Qualifications

• Education:
• B.E. (Computer Science) / M.Sc. (Computer Science) / MCA or equivalent.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of ERP systems, databases (MySQL / SQL Server / Oracle).
• Knowledge of software development fundamentals and system analysis.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, .NET) preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and documentation.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Logical thinking and analytical problem-solving.
• Team collaboration and adaptability to learn new tools.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and accountability in tasks.

4. Experience

• Experience Level: Fresher (0–1 year).
• Exposure through internships or academic projects related to ERP or IT systems will be an added advantage.

5. Work Environment

• Office-based / Hybrid working conditions depending on project requirements.
• Interaction with IT, HR, Finance, and Operations departments for ERP process understanding and support.

6. Career Path

• Progression to roles such as ERP Analyst, ERP Developer, Functional Consultant, or System Administrator with training and experience.
