Role Overview


The Admissions Counsellor at APCA plays a vital role in connecting aspiring chefs with their

culinary dreams. The role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a sales-driven

approach, guiding students and parents through the admissions process and ensuring that

monthly and quarterly enrolment targets are met successfully.


Key Responsibilities


  • Counselling & Student Engagement
  • Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions with prospective students and parents.
  • Understand student goals and recommend suitable culinary or pastry programs.
  • Provide detailed information on APCA’s curriculum, chef mentors, infrastructure, internships, and career pathways.
  • Offer an engaging and personalised campus experience during tours or orientations.




Lead Management & Admissions Target Achievement


  • Handle leads from all channels — walk-ins, calls, emails, website, referrals, and digital campaigns.
  • Maintain consistent follow-ups with all potential students through structured communication plans.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly admissions targets as defined by the management.
  • Convert inquiries into confirmed admissions through consultative and ethical selling.
  • Ensure complete documentation and fee processing for all enrolled students.




Reporting & Coordination


  • Update and maintain all data in the CRM system accurately.
  • Prepare and share daily, weekly, and monthly reports on leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Coordinate with academic, finance, and operations teams for smooth student
  • onboarding.

  • Warm, empathetic, and student-centric personality.
  • Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the culinary or hospitality sector is a plus.
  • Comfortable using MS Office and CRM tools.




Qualifications & Experience


  • Graduate or Postgraduate (preferred: Hospitality, Business, Mass Communications, or Marketing).
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in counselling, admissions, or B to C sales.
