Admissions Counselor

As a Student Counselor, your role involves counseling prospective students and their parents/guardians about academic programs, admission criteria, eligibility, and career prospects. You will assist students in selecting appropriate courses or programs based on their interests, qualifications, and career goals. Your responsibilities also include coordinating and scheduling campus visits, sample a class, and admission counseling sessions both online and offline. It is essential for you to maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone, email, SMS, and in-person meetings. Following up with leads generated from marketing campaigns, education fairs, and online inquiries to convert prospects into applicants is a key part of your role. Keeping accurate records of all student interactions, applications, and admission status in the institute's CRM or admission management system is crucial. You will participate in education fairs, seminars, school visits, and other outreach events. Additionally, arranging campus tours for prospective applicants, family, and guests who visit the institute for various other purposes is part of your responsibilities. Supporting other institutional activities throughout the year is also expected from you. Qualifications Required: - Graduation with a good academic record. Experience: - 2 to 5 years of experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or related fields preferably in the education sector. Key Skills: - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) - Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and basic data management - Ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently - Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure with deadlines.,
