Job Title: Admissions Counsellor - Preschool & Daycare

Location: Mumbai

Reports To:

Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Admissions

Own the end-to-end admissions process for preschool and daycare programs.
Handle inbound and outbound inquiries via calls, walk-ins, emails, and digital platforms.
Understand parents requirements, address their concerns, and recommend appropriate programs (age-specific, curriculum-based, etc.).
Effectively qualify leads and close sales opportunities while maintaining high conversion ratios.
Drive upsell opportunities, such as extended daycare hours or specialized programs (e.g., After School Activities).

2. Customer Engagement & Support

Build strong rapport with prospective and existing parents to ensure positive experience throughout their journey.
Act as the first point of contact for all program-related queries.
Maintain regular follow-up with leads and nurture long-term interest.
Collect and document parent feedback and share actionable insights with relevant teams (Operations, keting, Programs).

3. CRM & Reporting

Maintain accurate and up-to- lead and admissions data in CRM (Salesforce, LeadSquared, etc.).
Track admissions pipeline, conversions, and revenue reporting daily/weekly/ thly.
Ensure timely documentation and processing of contracts, forms, and fee collections.

4. Product Knowledge

Stay fully up on KLAY s preschool, daycare, and enrichment program offerings including curriculum, fee structures, schedules, and differentiators.
Stay informed on ket trends and competing offerings to effectively position KLAY s value proposition.

5. Internal Collaboration

Work closely with Centre Heads, Operations, keting, Finance, and Program teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new parents.
Coordinate with the finance team for fee-related queries, collections, and reconciliation.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor s degree or equivalent (mandatory)

Experience:

5 to 7 years of inside sales or admissions counselling experience, preferably in early childhood education, healthcare, retail, telecom, or financial services.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Hindi.
  • Sales Acumen:

    Target-driven, with strong negotiation and persuasive abilities.
  • Customer Centricity:

    Empathetic listener with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • CRM Proficiency:

    Prior experience with Salesforce, LeadSquared, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Personality:

    Pleasant demeanor, self-motivated, collaborative team player.
  • Ethics & Values:

    High professional integrity and respect for workplace diversity.
  • Time Management:

    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple admissions leads efficiently.
  • Travelling:

    This job requires travelling to centers and working from the centers.
