Job Title: Senior Admission Counsellor Location: Full-time From office (5 days a week) Compensation: ₹25,000/month (Fixed) + Performance Level bonus + Target Based Incentive Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 3+ years in admissions, counselling, or edtech sales About Biopractify Biopractify is a science-led upskilling platform that provides practical, research-oriented training for students, early-career researchers, and professionals in biotechnology, bioinformatics, and life sciences. We are committed to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry-ready skills through well-structured programs, expert mentors, and strong learner support. With a growing base of qualified leads and demand-driven programs, we are now seeking to strengthen our admissions team by hiring a Senior Admission Counsellor to lead and manage student conversion strategies. Role Overview The Senior Admission Counsellor will be responsible for managing the entire admissions funnel — from engaging with qualified leads to converting them into enrolled students. This is a performance-critical role that requires high ownership, communication skills, and the ability to independently drive revenue targets. You will be expected to directly contribute to business growth by achieving monthly conversion and revenue benchmarks. Key Responsibilities: Team Management skills Handle inbound leads generated through different campaigns Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions via calls, whatsapp or in-person Accurately understand student needs and match them with suitable programs Effectively communicate program details, pricing, and career outcomes Maintain timely and structured follow-ups for undecided leads Track lead status and update internal databases (CRM/Sheets) regularly Execute conversion strategies and experiment with follow-up frameworks Share weekly reports on conversion performance and revenue generation Coordinate with the program team to stay updated on offerings and changes Candidate Requirements Essential Qualifications & SkillsMinimum 3 years of work experience in admissions, edtech counselling, or course sales Strong verbal and written communication in English and Hindi Proven ability to meet or exceed conversion targets Ability to handle objections and build trust with students and parents Organized, consistent, and accountable in managing leads and reporting Comfortable with digital tools: CRM platforms, Google Sheets, WhatsApp Web, etc. Ability to work independently without micromanagement Preferred BackgroundPrior experience with educational platforms, coaching institutes, or training programs Exposure to science/technology/biotech education space is a plus Familiarity with remote/online program sales models What We OfferFixed monthly compensation of ₹25,000 Performance Level bonus + Target Based Incentive High-autonomy role with strategic input and leadership opportunities Flexible working environment with outcome-focused culture Direct collaboration with the founder and program leads
