Role – OS Windows VMware Active Directory Experience : 8 to 16 Years Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days Shifts: UK Shift Rotational Work Location: Hyderabad / Bangalore / Pune Job Description: Role Responsibilities: Support core platforms operationally, resolving incidents, fulfilling requests, and carrying out maintenance in a well-controlled and timely manner; ensuring that stakeholders are kept well informed throughout. Proactively identify, design and develop new capabilities within core platforms, to reduce manual effort, increase resilience, and maximize the business value of the services we provide. Work to align toolsets and ways of working within Technology. Build your practical skills and experience of the technologies in use by the cloud team. Contribute views and knowledge to the core platforms team, in terms of the technologies selected and approach taken. Take ownership for the security of the technology you work with, and core platforms as a whole; ensuring best practice security principles are adopted by default and security vulnerabilities are proactively identified and addressed. Stay current with new technologies, development methods and trends relating to your work. Proactively identify and raise operational risks and ensure these are formally recorded. Provide on call support in line with the agreed 'on call' Rota. Monitors work queues, assigns daily work and verifies completion to achieve service level standards. In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems. In-depth knowledge of VMware vSphere and accompanying VMware technologies (vRealize Suite) Can "challenge the norm" and think of new and innovative processes. Necessary experience or qualifications: Broad practical experience of analyzing and resolving complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues Proven ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Experience in automating infrastructure services using tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, Python and Terraform Experience in managing windows domain environments with Active Directory, SCCM & SCOM Maintain security infrastructure including antivirus software, host firewalls, Arctic Wolf and PAM (Secret Server) Remote management of physical data centre operations Experience of backup technologies such as Avamar Storage solutions such as EMC VNX, Powerstore, vSAN Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure such as Azure & AWS Qualifications o University degree or equivalent, ideally in an IT related subject. o VCP, VCAP or other VMware certifications o MCITP or other Microsoft certifications o RHCSA or other Red Hat certifications Upon Interest please share the below details Total Years of Work Exp: Relevant years of exp into Windows: Relevant years of exp into VMware: Relevant years of exp into Active Directory: Show more Show less
