Admin & Accounts Officer

You will be responsible for providing front office support at The Grey Metaphor located in Ahmedabad, Thaltej (Onsite). Your duties will include handling communications and inquiries, as well as directing them to the appropriate team members. You will be required to maintain and update financial records both online and in hardcopy format. Data entry tasks will be a part of your daily responsibilities, ensuring the accuracy of all entered information and maintaining organized records. It is essential to review and follow all compliance procedures diligently. Supporting office management activities will also be a key aspect of your role. This includes ordering supplies, coordinating maintenance of office equipment, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication across departments. Handling confidential information in accordance with company protocols and upholding high professional standards is crucial. You will also be responsible for supporting month-end closing activities through data entry and report generation, ensuring timely bank reconciliation, and tracking financial transactions. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will process invoices, bills, and voucher entries accurately, manage petty cash with proper expense documentation, and maintain fixed asset registers while following all compliance procedures. It is important to have a BCOM/ BBA or equivalent degree, with additional qualifications in accounting, finance, or business administration being preferred. A proven experience of 2-3 years in administrative roles with exposure to basic accounting or bookkeeping tasks is required. You should be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and accounting software such as Zoho. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are essential for this role. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, a proactive and flexible attitude towards work, and problem-solving skills with a willingness to take initiative are qualities that will contribute to your success in this position. Basic knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory compliances, as well as good knowledge of MS Office and basic software skills, are also necessary for this role.,
