Urgent opening Accounts Senior Executive Location Khar Road, Mumbai. Responsibilities and Workflows Sr. Accounts Executive Key Responsibilities: Oversee all financial and accounting operations. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, income tax, and other applicable tax returns (e.g., excise, VAT, or customs duty). Approve and monitor the preparation of financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Supervise team performance and resolve escalations. Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits. Review and approve purchase orders, vendor payments, and expense records. Oversee finalization of accounts, ensuring accuracy in trial balance, ledgers, and closing entries. Ensure timely filing of all tax returns and adherence to compliance deadlines. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Standard Workflow: Daily Tasks: Verify entries made by Accounts Executives in Tally ERP. Approve cash and bank reconciliations. Weekly Tasks: Review sundry creditors and debtors’ lists. Approve payment schedules for vendors and tax liabilities. Monitor inventory valuation reports. Monthly Tasks: Finalize financial reports and present them to the directors. Supervise the preparation of monthly stock and sales data (MSOD). Review tax filings and advance tax payments. Oversee compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Education qualification BCom or MCom with five to seven years of experience in a manufacturing company. Show more Show less
