Job Summary:

The Accounts Manager will oversee the financial health of the company by managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in the tea industry, especially those familiar with estate accounting, cost control, and stock handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting.
• Finalize accounts, handle audits (internal and statutory), and liaise with auditors.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ledgers, and balance sheets.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and fund flow statements.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax returns, and other statutory compliances.
• Oversee inventory accounting related to tea production, packaging, and dispatch.
• Analyze cost structures and provide inputs for cost optimization (especially related to tea gardens and factories).
• Coordinate with tea estates/factories for reconciliations and expenditure tracking.
• Manage team of junior accountants and ensure their deliverables are met.
• Coordinate with banks for transactions, fund management, and loan-related activities.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory regulations.
• Proficient in Tally ERP / SAP / other accounting software.
• Experience in the tea industry preferred (estate/factory/export operations).
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent team management and communication skills.
