Job Title: Accounts Intern (Contract & Invoice Management)

Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Head

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern with a background in accounting and practical knowledge of contract drafting and invoice management. The ideal candidate will have around 1 year of relevant experience and will support our finance team in ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely processing of financial documents.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and assist in finalizing simple contracts and agreements in coordination with the accounts and legal teams.

Manage end-to-end invoice processing — generation, verification, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records.

Assist with accounts payable/receivable tasks and ensure timely follow-ups.

Maintain organized documentation of contracts, invoices, and supporting paperwork.

Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors/clients for any clarifications.

Support the team in monthly closing activities, audits, and compliance requirements.

Prepare basic financial reports as needed.

Perform other finance-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Key Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or related field.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, with exposure to contract management and invoice handling.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles and documentation.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books — as applicable).

Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.

Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment.

Job Types: Internship, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
