Job Description

Job Summary: The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations at the centre level. This includes processing invoices, recording receipts, reconciling bank and POS transactions, handling petty cash (imprest) accounting, verifying end-of-day (EOD) reports, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities: Invoice Management: Process and record supplier/vendor invoices accurately and ensure timely payment as per company policies. Receipts & Collections: Record all receipts, including cash, card, and online transactions from POS systems. Bank & POS Reconciliation: Reconcile daily deposits, POS settlements, and online payments with system reports. Imprest Accounting: Maintain and account for centre imprest (petty cash) handled by the Centre Manager; review supporting bills and balance statements. EOD Verification: Verify the End of Day (EOD) report shared by the operations team; cross-check with actual sales and payment modes. Financial Record Keeping: Maintain proper records of all accounting transactions and supporting documents for audit readiness. Expense Tracking: Record and review centre-level operational expenses, ensuring accurate cost allocation. Coordination: Liaise with the central finance team for reporting, reimbursements, and monthly closing activities. Compliance: Ensure adherence to company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
