Accounts Executive - Finance & Accounts

Job Summary

We are seeking an Accounts Executive with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness. Prior work experience with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm for a minimum of 1 year will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records including journal entries, ledgers, and bank transactions
• Prepare and manage monthly financial budgets, fund flow statements, and generate MIS reports for forecasts. Negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
• Liaise with bankers, ensuring smooth financial operations and excellent communication
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with GST/TDS filings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and budgeting
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Assist the MD with all administrative and accounting operations and act as a go-to person for coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books and MS Office
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)
