Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Executive with at least 1 to 2 years of experience to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of basic accounting and finance principles, be proficient in Excel, Tally, Google Sheets, and Tally Prime software, and have hands-on experience with GST and TDS returns preparation. The candidate should also be familiar with Zoho software for streamlined accounting tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow in the field of finance and accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally Prime and Zoho software.
  • Process invoices, payments, receipts, and other accounting entries.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
  • Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1 GSTR-3B, and other applicable returns).
  • Calculate and prepare TDS returns, ensuring timely filing and compliance with applicable tax laws.
  • Liaise with tax authorities regarding any GST and TDS-related queries.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyses using Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Create and manage accounting-related spreadsheets to track transactions, budget forecasts, and other financial data.
  • Utilise Tally Prime for day-to-day accounting tasks, including generating financial statements and reports.
  • Utilise Zoho for managing accounting functions and collaborating with the team.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide support in auditing activities and the preparation of financial statements.

Requirements

  • Graduate in B. Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance.
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc. ).
  • Hands-on experience with Tally Prime software for accounting tasks.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Familiarity with Zoho software for accounting operations.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • Good knowledge of GST (Goods and Services Tax) laws and filing of GST returns.
  • Experience in preparing and filing TDS returns.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
