Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Analyst to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting. The role will also support data-driven decision-making for our cloud kitchen operations by providing timely financial insights. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn, take ownership, and grow in a fast-paced food-tech startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping using Tally Prime
• Maintain accurate records of sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers regularly
• Support management with financial data for business planning and decision-making

Compliance & Statutory Filings

• Handle GST and TDS compliance, returns, filings, and related documentation
• Ensure timely statutory payments and maintain compliance records
• Assist during audits and respond to compliance-related queries

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Work closely with the finance team and cross-functional stakeholders
• Use Excel and analytical tools to streamline reporting and analysis
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve accounting efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of relevant experience (startup or food-tech experience is a plus)

Technical Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime
• Sound understanding of GST and TDS regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)

Behavioral & Functional Skills

• Strong accounting fundamentals and attention to detail
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
• Eagerness to learn new tools, including AI and automation platforms
• Good communication and coordination skills
