Accounts Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monthly postings relating to loan accounts and portfolios.
• Assist in the reconciliation of loan accounts and portfolios.
• Preparing workings for Prepayments, Accruals, Debtors, and Creditors.
• Working on Cash Flow Statements.
• Processing of loan payments and assistance with DD collections.
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for funders and other stakeholders.
• Banking - processing payments, posting transactions onto SAGE, performing month-end reconciliations, etc.
• Assist in sorting Auditor queries.
• Reconciliation of all client loan accounts - liaising with relevant departments to ensure all new loans are picked up correctly.
• Accounts payable duties - set up suppliers on SAGE, run the Aged Debtors report and ensure all supplier payments are made on a timely basis. (limited in this role).
• Raising invoices and credit notes (limited in this role).
• Assist in preparing Monthly reports for investors.
  

Requirements

• Experience from a CA Firm is essential
• Strong accounting experience, including financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, etc., is essential.
• At least 6-7 years of Accounts experience in the Accounts field.
• Understanding of Asset-Based Lending, Unsecured and Secured loans is a bonus.
• Must possess intermediate to advanced Excel skills, Accountancy, IT and SAGE skills.
• Ability to take initiative and to meet deadlines.
• Prior work experience in NBFC is a bonus.
• Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
