Accounting Director

You are seeking an experienced and strategic US Accounting Director to lead and manage US accounting operations. Your responsibilities include leading month-end and year-end closing activities, reviewing financial statements, liaising with auditors and stakeholders, implementing internal controls, driving process improvements, providing leadership to the team, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and coordinating with US counterparts. - Lead month-end and year-end closing activities in compliance with US GAAP. - Review and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness. - Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and internal stakeholders. - Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting policies. - Drive process improvements and automation for greater efficiency. - Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of accountants and analysts. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements. - Coordinate with US counterparts for cross-border financial operations and reporting. Qualifications: - CA/CPA/MBA in Finance or equivalent. - Minimum 10+ years of US accounting experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of US GAAP and regulatory reporting. - Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. - Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, etc.) The company provides night shift (6:30 PM - 3:30 AM IST) work mode at the office with perks like home drop/pickup cabs and meal facility. Ability to commute or relocate to Chandigarh, Chandigarh is required.
