Accounting Director

As an Accounting Associate Director at NTT DATA in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, your primary responsibility will be managing Order to Cash functions, which includes Order/Contract management, Invoicing & Accounts Receivables (Collections/Cash Apps) & Revenue. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely closure of books, establishing and driving a robust internal control environment, and overseeing the annual testing of internal controls. Key Responsibilities: - Manage Order to Cash functions such as Order/Contract management, Invoicing & Accounts Receivables (Collections/Cash Apps) & Revenue. - Ensure accurate and timely closure of books. - Establish and drive a strong internal control environment. - Monitor the annual testing of internal controls. - Coordinate with external auditors, general ledger, tax, and legal teams to facilitate an efficient and timely audit process. - Act as a liaison between the Onshore and Shared Services team. - Develop a culture of continuous improvement and standardization of operations and systems. - Manage HR-related matters for direct reports and teams, including interviewing, hiring, compensation planning, ongoing feedback/coaching, and formal performance management. - Manage the daily operations and activities of the team to ensure all Key Result Areas (KRAs) are met. - Analyze and resolve complex or difficult problems presented by subordinates and escalate them appropriately to senior management. Qualifications Required: - Knowledge and understanding of IFRS, Transfer pricing/intercompany invoicing regulations. - Experience in coordinating with external auditors, general ledger, tax, and legal teams. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage HR-related matters for direct reports and teams effectively.
