Role Overview

Accountant (US GAAP, QuickBooks & Payroll – US & India)

US GAAP accounting

This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional capable of managing end-to-end accounting, payroll compliance, and financial reporting across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations in

  QuickBooks Online

  .
• Prepare, review, and maintain

  financial statements

  as per

  US GAAP

  .
• Oversee

  payroll processing

  for both US and India teams, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely disbursement.
• Handle statutory compliances including

  PF, TDS, PT, ESIC (India)

  and

  tax withholdings, benefits, W-2/1099 (US)

  .
• Coordinate with HR for employee data updates, leaves, and benefits integration.
• Execute

  month-end and year-end closings

  , reconciliations, and management reporting.
• Manage

  accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations

  .
• Liaise with

  external auditors, tax consultants, and payroll service providers

  .
• Support

  budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

  .
• Maintain proper documentation for

  audits, filings, and financial transparency

  .

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Accounting, Finance

  , or related field.

• Minimum 5 years

  of professional experience in accounting and payroll management under

  US GAAP

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  QuickBooks Online

  (certification preferred).
• Strong knowledge of

  US and Indian payroll systems and regulations

  .
• Familiarity with tools like

  Gusto, ADP, Paychex (US)

  and

  Zoho Payroll, RazorpayX, or similar (India)

  .
• Excellent understanding of

  tax compliance, financial controls

  , and

  reconciliation processes

  .
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Comfortable working during

  US business hours (night shift IST)
