Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing accounts, reconciling transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The Accountant will collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and contribute to the overall efficiency of the financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee general ledger and all sub-ledgers.
• Post journal entries, process accounts payable/receivable, and monitor cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial records.
• Assist with tax filings, including corporate tax, and other local tax requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of tax returns.
• Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and suggest corrective actions when necessary.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits.
• Document and recommend improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Support senior management with ad-hoc financial reports and analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments for budgeting and cost management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
