Accountant

Role  The Accountant, is primarily responsible for handling accounting, book keeping, raising invoices, record keeping, statutory compliances like remittance of TDS, PT etc., follow-up with clients for recovery of outstanding dues from time to time.  Experience required  Independently maintain books of accounts on Tally Software Reconciliation of Bank accounts and Preparation of Bank reconciliation statements Familiarity with Online payments, RTGS and NEFT payments, tracing details of Online credits received in the bank accounts, Follow up on collection of dues from clients etc Handling Petty cash and remittance of Cash and cheques into bank on daily basis Preparation and maintenance of Payment vouchers with adequate supporting, Computation and Remittance of Tax Deduction at Source on Payments, under Income tax Act, and filing of periodical TDS returns with Income tax Department Basic knowledge about maintenance of Payroll, computation of Net Salaries and familiarity with disbursements of salaries online.  Compliance with Periodical remittance of statutory payments such as PT, TDS etc Coordination with Outside Professionals with respect to PF Consultants, Lawyers etc Handling Vendor Payments, collection of supplier’s invoices, vendors Invoices etc Skill Set Required: Up to date knowledge on the best practices in the field of Accounting, and familiarity with working knowledge in GST Law and Income Tax law with regard to Tax Deduction at Source Provisions Ability to independently execute work and deliver results in time. Effective communication skill both written and oral, and willingness to learn and grow.  We require dedicated, devoted, and committed professional who can work with passion and strive for excellence  Qualification: Candidates with prior experience in working in a CA firm or Accounting Firm are preferred. Graduates with hands on experience preferred.  Remunerations:  Compensation would generally be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
