Accountant

The Accountant at ASTRA SOLID BLOCKS will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial policies. The role includes accommodation in the company’s home stay, supporting both professional and personal comfort for candidates relocating for work. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts. Track payments and manage both accounts payable and receivable activities to ensure timely settlements and collections. Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management for the company. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and publish timely financial records for management review. Process and compute tax payments, returns, and assist with statutory compliance. Audit financial transactions, documents, and ensure accuracy and confidentiality of records. Support the budgeting process, prepare budget forecasts, and report on financial health and liquidity. Collaborate with internal teams, management, and external stakeholders for improved financial operations. Provide technical support and advice to management on accounting best practices. Comply with regulatory requirements and company financial policies at all times. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field. Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred; fresher candidates with good aptitude may be considered. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word). Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Salary & Benefits Monthly salary: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 based on experience and qualifications. Home stay accommodation provided by ASTRA SOLID BLOCKS at company property. Other statutory benefits as per company policy, including paid time off and professional development opportunities. Work Location ASTRA SOLID BLOCKS, primary office or onsite location in Huliyurdurga or as specified by management. Remote work not applicable due to home stay benefit.
