Job Description

SFA Motorcycle Rentals is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for our motorcycle rental business. In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial statements, and support compliance with regulatory requirements. If you have a strong background in finance and enjoy working in a dynamic service industry, we invite you to join our team. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements. Manage invoicing, billing, and collections for rental services. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are properly documented. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including preparing and filing tax returns. Collaborate with management on audits and financial planning. Handle payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus. Proven experience (2+ years) as an Accountant, preferably in the service or rental industry. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS principles and tax laws. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and external stakeholders.
