Accountant

We are hiring a full-time Accountant who is well-versed in Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Tally ERP, and other accounting software. This is a hands-on role that demands accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a startup environment and is ready to take ownership of day-to-day financial operations across multiple business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile financial records using Zoho Books and Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory filings monthly/quarterly
• Generate and manage sales invoices, purchase bills, credit notes, and debit notes
• Manage payment gateways and banking transactions (Razorpay, PayPal, Bank Transfers)
• Track accounts payable and receivable, follow up on overdue invoices
• Maintain vendor and client ledgers with supporting documentation
• Manage payroll, employee reimbursements, and contractor payments
• Create monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow reports, and MIS
• Support financial audits, statutory audits, and ROC-related documentation
• Handle multi-entity bookkeeping across SELIN, GWME, Skoodos Ventures, etc.

Must-Have Skills

• Proficiency in Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expense
• Strong command over Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime
• Working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Sound understanding of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and Company Act compliance
• Ability to prepare and review financial statements independently

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing accounts for a startup or multi-entity business
• Familiarity with Zoho Payroll or RazorpayX payroll
• Basic knowledge of foreign transactions and currency conversions
• Exposure to MCA, ROC filings, and audit documentation prep

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance
• CA Inter / M.Com / Tally Certified or Zoho Certified (preferred)
