Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our Siliguri office. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and proficiency in accounting software. This role requires accuracy, analytical thinking, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities Maintain day-to-day financial records, including accounts payable and receivable. Prepare and review financial statements, ledgers, and bank reconciliations. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements. Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements. Assist with internal and external audits. Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for billing and payments. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Maintain confidentiality of financial data. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience (experience in IT or services sector preferred). Strong understanding of Indian accounting standards and taxation. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Excellent attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
