Role Description

Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions in Tally Prime.
Maintain accurate books of accounts including sales, purchase, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns) within deadlines.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and other ledgers.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
Prepare MIS reports, balance sheets, and other financial statements as required.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and coordinate with auditors during audits.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, vouchers, and supporting records.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
Working knowledge of GST filing, TDS filing, and basic accounting principles.
Other Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in reconciliation of multiple bank accounts.
Familiarity with E-invoicing and GST portal.
Knowledge of Income Tax and other statutory filings.
