Job Summary:

The Accountant & Cashier will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling cash transactions, and ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping. The role requires proficiency in Tally, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally software.
Handle cash receipts, payments, deposits, and petty cash transactions.
Prepare vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliation statements.
Monitor daily cash flow and ensure timely recording of transactions.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Ensure compliance with institutional accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Manage records for accounts payable and receivable.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in financial documentation.
Support the finance department in budget preparation and reporting.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong knowledge of Tally ERP and MS Office.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail in cash handling and record maintenance.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Integrity, reliability, and good communication skills.
