Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Surat. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and maintaining accurate bookkeeping. Daily activities may include reconciling accounts, tracking revenue and expenses, preparing reports for management, and coordinating with external auditors. The role also involves ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assisting in budget planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bookkeeping processes
• Proficiency in using accounting software, Excel, and other financial tools
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accuracy in financial data
• Familiarity with tax laws, regulatory compliance, and budgeting processes
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting certification (e.g., CA, CPA) is a plus
• Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry is an advantage
