Job Title: Accountant Location: Ahmedabad Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Education: B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage and oversee daily financial activities, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support internal and external audits. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience with accounting software, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Prepare and maintain financial records, ledgers, and reports Manage accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely payments Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory returns Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes Assist with budgeting and forecasting Maintain compliance with all financial regulations Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes Generate financial statements and MIS reports for management Monitor company’s financial health and report on variances Requirements B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) is mandatory Minimum of 3 years of proven work experience in accounting Sound knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software Familiarity with taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) and statutory compliance Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills Good organizational and time-management abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reporting to: Director Show more Show less
