Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, hands-on experience with Tally, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payroll accounting
• Prepare and issue sales and service invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate day-to-day banking operations, including managing relationships with banks
• Handle foreign remittances, including documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including GST/VAT, TDS, and income tax filings
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audit activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Support implementation of internal controls and process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or related field (CA Inter preferred but not mandatory)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency in Tally
• Advanced Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and time management
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
