Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Naxalbari. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial reports, maintaining accurate financial records, and managing day-to-day accounting tasks. Key duties include handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, preparing tax documents, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will also play a crucial role in budgeting, cost management, and aiding in financial audits.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Accounting principles, Financial Reporting, and Budgeting
Proficiency with Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial analysis
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
Professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent is an added advantage
Experience in the Garments/Textiles/Buying and Merchandising industry is a plus
