Job Description

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the management in decision-making through financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update accounting records and files (ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments).
Prepare and analyse financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and cash flow statements.
Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings as per government regulations.
Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
Monitor and manage petty cash and expense claims.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Verify vendor bills and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally ERP ).
Advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
