About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and trustworthy Accountant to oversee the financial operations of our MSME manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare financial reports, and ensure full compliance with statutory and tax regulations. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, accuracy, and the ability to work independently. Role & responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions (income, expenses, assets, and liabilities) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Handle GST returns, TDS filings, and other statutory compliances Manage payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and vendor payments Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain petty cash records Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial forecasting activities Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and other external partners during audits or assessments Utilize accounting software (preferably Tally ) and Excel for financial management and reporting Preferred candidate profile Education: Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance Experience: 13 years of experience in accounting (experience in an MSME/manufacturing setup preferred) Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.) and compliance procedures Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel Soft Skills: Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills Desired Traits High level of integrity and reliability Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes
