Accountant

• Maintain, record and update financial records, invoices, ledgers and processing payments to vendors, suppliers and service providers using Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel
• Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of tax returns, including income tax, GST, TDS, Customs and other applicable taxes and statutory dues
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize financial performance.
• Prepare necessary documentation and assist in internal and external audit processes to ensure compliance and address any audit queries or requirements.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud, and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee payroll processes, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations, standards, and best practices. Implement changes as required to ensure compliance and minimize financial risks.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analysing variances, and providing recommendations for improvement.
