Accountant

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with strong knowledge of Tally Prime and GST compliance. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling taxation, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, vendor bills, and customer invoices.
• Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and vendor statements.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Assist in statutory audits and coordinate with auditors.
• Manage inventory and stock records (if applicable).
• Maintain proper documentation of vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
• Support management with reports and financial analysis as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance.
• Proven experience as an Accountant (minimum [X years], preferably in [industry]).
• Hands-on experience in Tally Prime (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Good command of MS Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with payroll, inventory, or multi-branch accounting.
• Familiarity with other accounting/ERP software.
• Knowledge of Income Tax filing is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Rajpur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
