We are looking for a highly analytical and responsible Credit Manager to join our growing team. The Credit Manager will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, analyzing applicant financials, and ensuring quality disbursals while minimizing risk. You will work closely with sales, operations, and verification teams to ensure smooth and compliant loan processing. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and analyze loan applications based on credit policies and risk parameters. Review income documents, bank statements, and credit bureau reports (e.g., CIBIL, CRIF). Approve or reject loan applications based on eligibility criteria and internal guidelines. Monitor DPD (Days Past Due), default rates, and portfolio performance. Coordinate with sales and verification teams for pending documents or clarifications. Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and rationales. Flag high-risk or fraudulent profiles proactively. Suggest improvements in credit policy or underwriting practices. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred). 13 years of experience in lending, credit underwriting, or financial services (Payday loan/NBFC experience is a plus). Strong understanding of CIBIL reports, bank statement analysis, and salary evaluation. Familiarity with tools like Signzy, CRIF, Karza, Noval, or Equifax preferred. Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Proficiency in Excel and CRM tools.
