Accountant

As an Accountant at BM JHA Construction, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and success of the company. You will be responsible for a wide range of accounting tasks, including but not limited to:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide ongoing analysis of actual performance against budgeted targets.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Payroll Processing: Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees, including calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
• Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations, including timely filing of tax returns.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including variance analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and profitability analysis.
• Internal Controls: Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Audit Support: Assist with annual financial audits by providing necessary documentation and support to auditors.
• Financial Systems Management: Utilize accounting software (mention specific software, if applicable) to maintain accurate financial records and streamline accounting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
